According to the rankings of bus transit coverage in 319 major cities in China released recently, Changzhou is ranked the fourth, right after Yuxi, Foshan and Qujing.
The rankings were initiated by a team headed by Long Ying, senior engineer of Beijing Municipal Institute of City Planning and Design. With 319 major cities in the country as research objects, Long鈥檚 team carried out horizontal comparison and analysis on each city鈥檚 coverage of bus stations within every 300 meters, 500 meters and 800 meters.
Statistics also show that in 2013 Changzhou citizens鈥 overall satisfaction rate with bus transit reached 90.1%, and that with bus stops reached 96.2%.
