Party secretary of Changzhou Yan Li briefed the guests about Changzhou's economic and social development and said that, Changzhou needs to rely on the bridgehead--Shanghai, to build a bridge for the communication with the outside world. First, efforts should be made to deepen the industrial cooperation, share the resources so as to form a benign pattern for complementing each other. Second, further deepen innovative cooperation with higher learning institutions, scentific research organizations as well as leading global enterprises in Shanghai. Third, further deepen urban cooperation.Last but not the least, efforts should be stepped up to enhance the cooperation with Shanghai in terms of opening up. Hopes to enhance the cooperation in port and customs clearance cooperation.
